Understanding Spiritual Philosophy
Do
you ever feel that your life is empty?
Do
you have a sense that you are searching but don’t know what for?
Are
you still looking for your purpose and passion in life?
If so you are not alone. Many people today are questioning
themselves and their lives more deeply then ever before. The answers to all of
our questions lie within our own mind. Spiritual Philosophy, the teachings of
the ancient philosophers, helps us unlock the doors in our mind that pave the way to revealing these answers to our conscious
mind. When we are able to recognize the patterns we have been living we gain
a higher level of understanding of why we feel and behave as we do and why we have created our life as we have. Our thinking is what creates our reality. Understanding this
and changing our thinking to a positive, internal perspective of life will help us to find a sense of purpose and fulfillment
within our life. We can create health and happiness in our life as we learn to
understand self.
Spiritual Philosophy and Health
Healing begins in the mind. We have to think healthy if we want to be healthy. Understanding
self is the key to healing our fearful thinking as the root cause of our disease and dis-ease. In understanding how we create
and maintain health we can effectively eliminate pain and disease from our life. In
changing the way we think and the way we live we can create health on every level; physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Once we understand that we are the creators of our life and our health, an abundance
of health and happiness can become our reality. Knowledge is our greatest healer.
Spiritual Philosophy and Depression
Depression is one of the biggest epidemics we have
today. Medicine has defined this as mental illness. Depression is not mental illness.
“Depression is a mind screaming for change”
(Kathy Oddenino,R.N.). Spiritual
Philosophy teaches us that depression is a normal stage of growth that we all go through at times in our life. It is what motivates us toward change. With change comes growth. Understanding depression in this way helps us to work through it more quickly and
effectively as we learn how to create the change we are “screaming for”.
Spiritual
Philosophy VS Religion
The teachings of Spiritual Philosophy differ from
those of religion. Religion teaches us an external perspective of ourselves and
our life. It teaches us to rely on others to "save" us. Spiritual Philosophy encourages us to look internally and to recognize our self as our only savior. The "one life belief" of religion limits our potential and may create a feeling of
hopelessness as we spend our life facing our mortality. Spiritual Philosophy
teaches us that we are eternal beings. Eternal life allows us to be all that
we can be. Our potential is unlimited.
How can we ever realize our unlimited potential in just one lifetime? As
we understand ourselves as eternal we gain a sense of inspiration and motivation to be all that we can be.
